With over 20 years of work experience in network, information, and cybersecurity, I am a passionate and skilled leader in the field of cybersecurity operations. As the Head of Cybersecurity Operations at QatarEnergy, I oversee the design, implementation, and management of the cybersecurity strategy, framework, and policies for the largest energy company in the Middle East. I lead a team of cybersecurity professionals who protect the company's assets, data, and systems from cyber threats and incidents, and ensure compliance with global standards and regulations. Prior to joining QatarEnergy, I was the Global Head of Security Architecture, Operations, and Engineering at Schroders, a leading asset management firm, where I developed and executed the security architecture, operations, and engineering strategy across the organization, and managed multiple security projects and initiatives. I have a Master of Science degree in Software and Systems Security from the University of Oxford, and hold several professional certifications, including MCP, CCNA, and CCSA. I have also worked as a security consultant, architect, and manager for various companies and sectors, such as BAE Systems, Transport for London, Meridian Capital, and Network Rail. I have extensive experience and knowledge in various domains and technologies related to cybersecurity, such as network security, cloud security, endpoint security, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, and security governance. I am driven by the mission of safeguarding the digital world and enhancing the security posture and resilience of the organizations I work with.
